KFC Yum! Center Seating Chart, Best Seats & Section Guide

KFC Yum! Center is a major indoor arena in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. It hosts University of Louisville men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, concerts, comedy shows, family entertainment and other live events.

The KFC Yum! Center seating chart varies according to the event. Basketball games use a court-focused layout, while concerts may feature reserved floor seats, general admission or an end-stage arrangement. The event-specific seating map is the best reference for checking section locations and viewing angles.

KFC Yum! Center Seating Chart & Seat Map

The arena has seating around the central event floor, along with premium seating and hospitality spaces. Section numbers, floor layouts and available seats can vary depending on the event.

Before purchasing tickets, check the seating map for the specific game or show. This helps identify the section, row, floor arrangement and position relative to the court or stage.

Lower-Level Seating

Lower-level seats place spectators closer to the basketball court or performance area. Side sections are generally useful for viewing the action across the court, while seats behind the baskets provide a different perspective. For concerts, the view depends on the stage position.

Upper-Level Seating

Upper-level seats provide an elevated view of the event floor. They can be a practical choice for visitors looking for lower ticket prices or a broader view of the game. The distance from the court or stage is greater than in lower-level seating.

Floor Seating and Concert Layouts

Concert floor arrangements depend on the performer and stage design. Some events use reserved seats, while others have general-admission standing areas. Floor tickets should be checked carefully to confirm whether a numbered seat is included.

Best Seats at KFC Yum! Center

The best seats depend on the event, viewing preference and ticket budget. Central sections are often preferred for basketball, while concert seating depends on the stage location.

Best Seats for Louisville Basketball

For University of Louisville basketball games, central sideline sections provide a balanced view of both baskets. Lower-level seats bring spectators closer to the players, while elevated seating offers a wider perspective of the court.

Seats behind the baskets provide a different angle and may suit visitors who prefer watching play near the rim. The event seating map should be checked to compare available sections and rows.

Best Seats for Concerts

For end-stage concerts, seats facing the stage can provide a direct view of the performance. Lower-level side seats may offer greater proximity, while elevated seats can provide a broader view of the stage production.

Floor seating can be attractive for visitors who want to be closer to the performers, but stage height, standing crowds and production equipment can affect visibility. The event-specific seating chart should be checked before booking.

Best Budget Seats

Upper-level seats are worth comparing when ticket cost is a priority. A centrally positioned seat may offer a more balanced view than a cheaper seat at an extreme angle. Ticket prices vary by event, opponent, performer and demand.

Premium Seating at KFC Yum! Center

KFC Yum! Center offers premium experiences, including suites, premium boxes, premium barstools and club spaces. Availability, seating locations and included amenities depend on the event and package.

Luxury Suites and Premium Boxes

Suites and premium boxes provide a more private setting for groups, business entertainment and special occasions. Packages may include hospitality services, food and beverage options or dedicated access arrangements. The exact inclusions should be confirmed before booking.

Premium Barstools and Club Access

Premium barstools and club spaces offer alternatives to standard arena seating. Some premium tickets provide access to dedicated hospitality areas, but amenities are not necessarily included with every ticket. Premium entrance arrangements should also be checked before arrival.

ADA Accessible Seating at KFC Yum! Center

The arena provides wheelchair-accessible and companion seating on each level, including the floor when an event offers floor seating. Accessible tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster or in person at the arena ticket office, subject to availability.

Accessible Seating and Facilities

Sensory-Inclusive Facilities

The arena provides sensory bags containing items such as noise-cancelling headphones, fidget tools and communication aids. These are available from the Fan Assistance booth on the main concourse outside Section 102.

A sensory-friendly quiet space is located behind Section 112 on the main concourse. Availability and arrangements can be confirmed through the venue’s accessibility information.

Seats to Avoid at KFC Yum! Center

No section is unsuitable for every event. Viewing conditions depend on the court or stage position, row, angle and any temporary production equipment.

Seats with Angled Views

Seats at the sides of an end-stage concert may provide a less direct view of the performance. For basketball, sections behind the baskets offer a different perspective from central sideline locations.

Seats with Potentially Restricted Views

Lighting equipment, stage structures and other event installations can affect visibility in selected locations. Any viewing restrictions should be checked against the specific event map rather than assumed from a general seating chart.

KFC Yum! Center Entry Gates and Seating Access

KFC Yum! Center is located at 1 Arena Plaza, Louisville, Kentucky 40202. General entrance arrangements can vary by event, so ticket instructions should be checked before arrival.

Main and Premium Entrances
